Specialized Primo Shoes

On the bike and off, Specialized's Primo Shoes feel and look great. Their soles are stiff for excellent power transfer and protection while riding, and flexible at the toes for comfort when walking, making them perfect for commuting to work and pedaling about town. Plus, the Primos feature Specialized's ergonomic Body Geometry footbeds, laces for fine-tuning the fit and grippy treads for traction wherever you roam. These shoes also accept recessed cleats for use with clipless pedals (sold separately).

      Comments:

I wanted a pair of shoes that had a nice, grippy sole for use with the platform side of my Shimano AD-530 clipless pedals and the cleats when installed wouldn't contact the pavement. It looks like a regular sneaker when worn and is super comfortable to wear all day long. Don't know about how it will do in the hot weather, but it does have some ventilation built in and a real leather upper. Extremely comfortable to walk in.
